Celebrating the Festival of Colors vibrantly, the SLIIT INTERNATIONAL Student Guild along with the SLIIT INTERNATIONAL Events team organized the first ever Holi Festival on 27th of March at the SLIIT INTERNATIONAL premises. Filled with color, laugher, music and unity, the event proved the true essence of Holi by spreading warmth and positivity in trying times.

Nothing says less about music, good food and friends like a barbeque and bonfire night. At a time where the spirit of togetherness is a strength to everyone, Curtin students at SLIIT INTERNATIONAL had the chance to enjoy a barbeque night, filled with laughter and joy. Organized by the Curtin Alumni, the Alumni Barbeque Night held on 25 March was a fantastic event for the current students of SLIIT INTERNATIONAL to interact and spend quality time with their past Alumni and their current batchmates.

SLIIT INTERNATIONAL Football-Futsal, along with the students of the campus, organized the first ever Futsal Tournament of the campus, which was a roaring success. Held on 20th March 2022, Curtin students at SLIIT INTERNATIONAL proved their undeniable sportsmanship through a day of exciting futsal matches. With a successful turnout and amazing wins, our students showed that teamwork is indeed the best way to succeed. Congratulations to all the winners of the day and cheers to more tournaments to come!

Curtin University Convocation 2022 for students who had completed their Curtin Engineering and Computing degree programs at SLIIT was held on 5 March 2022 at the SLIIT Auditorium in Malabe. The graduation ceremony was presided over by Professor Seth Kunin, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Global of Curtin University, Australia. It was a glittering occasion where 66 students specializing in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil & Construction Engineering, and 80 students specializing in Information Technology, Computer Systems & Networking, & Software Engineering graduated. SLIIT INTERNATIONAL welcomed the latest batch of students and resumed physical lectures. A ceremony was organized welcoming the new students enrolled in Feb 2022 Intake and students enrolled in previous year at SLIIT INTERNATIONAL premises. The gathering was addressed by the Dr. Athula Pitigala-Arachchi, CEO at SLIIT INTERNATIONAL, followed by speeches from Prof. Kunin, DVC at Curtin Global and Prof. Kapurubandara, the Dean International.

Curtin University Virtual Panel 2021 was successfully held on Monday, 8th of November 2021 via Zoom. Mr. Nigel De Silva, Dr. Hannes Herrmann, Assoc. Prof. Cesar Ortega-Sanchez, Assoc. Prof. Peter Dell of Curtin University Australia made a special guest appearance. The prospective Students had the opportunity to virtually tour the SLIIT INTERNATIONAL campus and get detailed information about Curtin Engineering, Computing and Business degree programs.

Curtin University Virtual Open Day 2021 was successfully held on Saturday, 23rd of June 2021 via Online Platforms. Mr. Nigel De Silva, Prof. Tilak Chandratilleke, Dr. Hannes Herrmann of Curtin University Australia also made a special guest appearance and the prospective Students had the opportunity to virtually tour the SLIIT International campus and get detailed information about Curtin Engineering and Computing degree programs.
